Keeping up with the Lewis Family: September 2011

New House

A few months ago (ok, several months ago), we decided that it was time to move. Waylon found us a nice piece of land in a beautiful neighborhood and that is when we decided we wanted to build. I am not sure we both fully understood the challenge we were taking on. We are really excited to build the house we want to raise all of our children in!

This is where we are in the process today, foundation. Framing starts on Monday!

It is hard to picture where everything goes when all you have is the foundation, but I think we are standing in a hall :)

Madison would be happy with just the foundation. She had a lot of fun running aruond.

She actually is sitting in her bedroom. Smart girl!

Just like daddy

When things weren't looking so good during the football game, Madison showed some of her daddy's traits.

Since the cowboys finally decided to play, and pulled out a W, Madison and Daddy got to read the Sunday morning paper.

Park Time!

Madison LOVES the park. We have been going a lot lately with the weather being so nice. She would sleep out there if we would let her! When it is time to head home, she usually cries the whole way. :( Here are some pictures from our latest adventure!

Driveway + Chalk = FUN TIMES!

I didn't know how much fun (and messy) drawing on the driveway with chalk could be! We had a good time! I had decided to take Madison's clothes off before we started drawing in case it was messy. Boy am I glad that I did! Madison enjoyed drawing with the chalk, rolling around in the chalk, and even eating the chalk. A bath was very necessary afterwards!
