Softball

For the past few years the boys have been playing softball. The first year all the wives had matching shirts, we went to every game, drank some beer, and hung out afterwards. Then everyone got pregnant and it all changed. Last year we were more concerned with making sure the girls matched and were as cute as possible. They didn't seem to mind and pretty much were confined to the blanket we would lay out.

June 2010

This year is another story! There has been another baby added and they are all 100% mobile! Our little area (behind the opposing teams dugout, which I am sure they appreciated) looked like an outdoor toy store. While I was a little concerned of how exhausting it would be to attend a game, it wasn't as bad as I had imagined. They were all well behaved and played almost the whole night. It was actually really cute to sit back and watch as they all interacted.

Getting four one year olds to look in the same direction is pretty much impossible ....

One always seems to escape :)
Here is where the comment, "they were well behaved almost the whole night" comes in ....
NOTE: all children are now equipped with a paci ......
Definitely think they have had enough!

Swimsuit #3 ...

Swimsuit # 3 is a lovely 2 piece ensemble. I think she wears it very nicely :)

Thanks Aunt KK!

This is what you do when it is hot outside!

It has been nothing but HOT outside the past month or so and we were getting a little tired of just hanging out inside. So we decided to see if little miss would enjoy the sprinkler. We had to wait until it was "our" day to water (as to follow the current water rationing rules) so we decided tonight would be perfect! Well almost perfect, all 4 of Madison's bathing suits at at grandma and grandpa's so we had that kid in the neighborhood playing in the front yard sprinkler in a diaper! Oh well, can't be fancy all the time!
She wasn't too sure so daddy had to show her how it was done!
Not sure who is having more fun .....

I think sprinkler in the front yard was a success!

Who needs a lawn man ....

When you have a 17 month old to do the job! I was worried that when we have a bigger lawn I would be forced to mow, but now I am not as worried. Madison seems to enjoy it! She can help daddy!!

Where a kid can be a kid

It was so hot over the 4th of July weekend we were trying to find something to do that was inside and cool. Someone suggested Chuck E.Cheese. At first I didn't know how well this would go over and what exactly the little one would do, but we all piled into the car and went to the place "where a kid can be a kid". We walked in the door and Madison was in LOVE. She started screaming and flailing with excitement. Once we put her down, she was off and running!

This was one of the favorites

Enjoyed a little pizza

She even made some new friends

This face pretty much sums up the evening!
